Bri THE Sparkling Diamond
About Bri – The Sparkling Diamond
Born and raised in New Orleans, Bri—known on stage as The Sparkling Diamond—has been dancing since childhood. Trained in ballet, tap, jazz, baton, modern, and hip-hop, Bri’s artistry blends classical technique with fearless creativity.
In 2017, she founded Bri’Larinas Dance Company LLC, teaching ballet and hip-hop to young dancers in her community. But after a trip to Las Vegas, she discovered the world of vaudeville and burlesque. Inspired by the glamour, storytelling, and showgirl tradition, Bri fused her love of dance with theatrical spectacle—and Bri & The Sparkling Diamonds was born.
Today, Bri is more than a performer—she is a choreographer, producer, wardrobe stylist, and visionary leader of New Orleans’ first all-Black burlesque troupe with rotating monthly themes. Her mission is to reclaim space for Black artistry in burlesque, dazzling audiences with performances that are bold, unapologetic, and unforgettable.
Her dream? To one day bring her troupe to Las Vegas—not just as performers, but as pioneers of a cultural movement that celebrates beauty, brilliance, and sparkle in every form.
Why The Diamonds Were Created
Bri & The Sparkling Diamonds was born with a mission: to empower women of color through performance, beauty, and unapologetic femininity. What began as a vaudeville-inspired dance show soon grew into something bigger—a celebration of women in all their forms, shapes, sizes, and shades.
At its heart, The Diamonds are about more than just burlesque. We are about representation, confidence, and sparkle—reminding every woman that she is radiant, powerful, and worthy of the spotlight. Each performance is designed not only to dazzle our audiences, but also to affirm the brilliance of every Diamond who steps on stage.
When you see us perform, you don’t just witness a show—you become part of a cultural movement, one that uplifts, inspires, and shines bright from New Orleans to the world.
Born to Sparkle.
Black brilliance. Bold themes. Burlesque re-imagined.
